Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Measure the required amount of sugar, water, and vinegar.
- 2
Step 2

Place all the ingredients in a saucepan, set over low heat, and stir constantly.

Step 3

This is approximately what our semi-finished product will look like shortly before it's done. The cooking process took about 10 minutes. To test the caramel's readiness, dip a wooden stick or toothpick into the caramel and place it into a glass of cold water. The cooled caramel should be crisp and snap when bitten. The most important thing at this stage is not to overcook the caramel, otherwise it will taste bitter.

Step 4

I have this candy mold. It's necessary to carefully grease the cavities with vegetable oil. If we don't grease them well, our candies will be difficult to remove from the mold.
- 5
Step 5

Carefully pour the hot caramel into the molds, insert a toothpick into each one, and let cool for 10-15 minutes.
- 6
Step 6

If you don't have a special mold—it's no problem! You can easily replace it with a regular spoon, ice cube trays, or any other container you like.
- 7
Step 7

Remove the candies from the molds and they're ready to treat your kids! Optionally, you can coat them with sugar, seeds, or nuts. If you'd like to make colored candies, add a drop of regular green food coloring, beet juice, or any other natural dye to the caramel mixture before pouring it into the molds.
