
Sugar candies
Description
The recipe won't take much time. This recipe is slightly modified by adding food coloring and flavoring for a pleasant taste and aroma, but it's still based on plain water and regular sugar. These candies can delight not only children but adults as well. They will be a perfect addition to a children's party. They are quick and very easy to make using readily available ingredients. Serve chilled.

1. Pour water into a saucepan, add sugar, place over heat, and heat to 130 degrees.

2. Add a small amount of food coloring to the boiling liquid to give it a distinctive color, along with a few drops of flavoring. Mix well and heat to 150-160 degrees. Mix a pinch of citric acid with half a teaspoon of water and add it to the pot, then turn off the heat.

3. Grease a silicone mat or parchment paper with odorless sunflower oil, pour a little of the prepared caramel into the desired shape, insert a toothpick or stick, twist it to ensure it is fully embedded, and let the candies set (20-30 minutes).
