Pepper Lecho for Winter
Description
Homemade preserves keep for a long time. When the lecho is in the jars, turn them upside down and wrap them in a towel; when the jars have cooled, move them to a storage place. Winter pepper lecho will taste much better after it has stood for several weeks. You will have an excellent appetizer to serve with meat or a side dish. Below is a step-by-step recipe. The jars keep for up to a year in a cool place.
