Prepare all the ingredients. Wash all the vegetables in advance and pat them dry.

Peel the carrots and cut into matchsticks; slice the yellow onion into half-moons; cut the bell pepper and zucchini into sticks. Peel the garlic and press through a garlic press or grate on a fine grater.

Score a cross on the tomatoes, dip them in boiling water for a couple of minutes. Then rinse under cold water. Peel the tomatoes and remove the cores.

Dice the tomatoes and blend until smooth and uniform.

Heat the vegetable oil in a heavy-bottomed pot. Add the onion and carrot. Sauté until golden, about 5 minutes.

Add the zucchini and bell pepper. Season with salt, stir, and cook for another 5 minutes over medium heat.

Then pour in the tomato purée. Add the sugar and garlic. Simmer over medium heat for about 15 minutes.

Add the vinegar and cook for another 5 minutes.

Pack the hot lecho into clean sterilized jars.

Turn upside down, wrap in a towel, and leave until completely cooled. After that, the preparation can be stored in a cool place.
