Lasagna with tomato sauce
Description
The dish is prepared without unnecessary complications. This is a very simple version. We will be making lasagna using store-bought tomato sauce. I don't add béchamel, as the lasagna turns out juicy and tender enough with the tomato sauce. Yes, preparation will take quite some time, but overall, the process isn't difficult. The finished dish can be served at the table.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Sauté the ground beef in vegetable oil.
- 2
Step 2

Sauté the chopped pepper, onion, and garlic separately. Then combine with the beef.
- 3
Step 3

Transfer the meat to a saucepan, add chopped tomatoes, tomato sauce and ketchup, salt and Italian herbs. Add vinegar and sugar to taste.
- 4
Step 4

Now prepare the lasagna according to the package instructions. In my case, the pasta needed to be quickly boiled and drained.
- 5
Step 5

In the baking dish, start layering: first the pasta, then the meat filling. The next layer — ricotta and grated mozzarella.
- 6
Step 6

Layer all ingredients this way, finishing with grated Parmesan. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Cover the dish with foil and bake the lasagna for 45 minutes.
