Instructions
- 1
Step 1

1. Pour olive oil into a frying pan and add the chopped onion and garlic.
- 2
Step 2

2. Fry until golden brown, stirring occasionally to prevent the onions from burning.
- 3
Step 3

3. Meanwhile, wash the tomatoes, peel them, and cut into small pieces. Add to the pan with the onion. If desired, you can use ready-made tomato sauce in the shrimp lasagna recipe.
- 4
Step 4

4. When the sauce becomes smooth, season it with salt and pepper to taste, add your favorite dried herbs, and place the peeled shrimp into the sauce.
- 5
Step 5

5. In a separate saucepan, melt the butter.
- 6
Step 6

6. Add the flour, sauté briefly, then pour in the cream. The sauce must be stirred constantly to ensure it turns out smooth and lump-free.
- 7
Step 7

7. Add salt, pepper, and nutmeg to taste. Grate Parmesan on a fine grater, divide it in half, and add one part to the sauce.
- 8
Step 8

8. Remove the finished sauce from the heat and set aside for now. Now you can proceed to the cheese filling. Homemade lasagna with shrimp can be prepared using any available cheeses.
- 9
Step 9

9. To the grated cheese (reserve a little of the hard cheese or mozzarella), add an egg, salt, pepper, and fresh herbs. Mix thoroughly.
- 10
Step 10

10. Place about a third of the cheese filling and some shrimp in sauce on the bottom of a heatproof dish.
- 11
Step 11

11. Cover all this with lasagna sheets and brush the top with sauce.
- 12
Step 12

12. Then repeat the layers until all ingredients are used up. Top with grated cheese and, if desired, place lasagna sheets on top or leave the top open.
- 13
Step 13

13. Place the dish in a preheated oven for at least 30 minutes. You can tell it's done when the top turns golden brown. Let the lasagna cool slightly before serving.
