Lasagna with sausage and cheese
Description
The recipe won't take much time. 1. To prepare the dish, start with the sauce. It's best to use fresh tomatoes, peeled and finely chopped. Place them in a skillet with a small amount of garlic, salt, and pepper. Simmer until thickened. Add dried herbs or your favorite spices if desired. 2. Use ready-made "Béchamel" sauce or prepare it as follows: in a separate skillet, melt about 50 grams of butter. Add 3–4 tablespoons of flour and sauté until golden. Gradually pour in cold milk in several batches, stirring constantly. 3. You can also add some sautéed mushrooms to the recipe for lasagna with sausage and cheese. 4. Now, thinly slice the sausage and bell pepper, and grate the cheese. 5. Place 3 lasagna sheets on the bottom of the baking dish and spread them with Béchamel sauce. Sprinkle with grated cheese. Arrange sausage and some bell pepper on top. Spread half of the tomato sauce over it. 6. Cover with another 3 lasagna sheets, spread with Béchamel sauce, and sprinkle with cheese. Add another layer of sausage, bell pepper, a thin layer of mushrooms, and the second half of the tomato sauce. If desired, homemade lasagna with sausage and cheese can also include other vegetables. 7. Generously spread the remaining Béchamel sauce over the top lasagna sheets and sprinkle with cheese. Optionally, you can place a few slices of sausage on top (but only if the sausage isn't too dry). 8. Place the dish in a preheated oven for 30–40 minutes. Serve hot.
