Simple lasagna
Description
The dish is prepared without unnecessary complications. This lasagna is very aromatic. I prefer not to overload it with spices, but if desired, you can add a little red chili pepper to the mushroom sauce. I use 6 strips per layer, but this depends entirely on the baking dish you're using for the lasagna. The finished dish can be served at the table.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

In a large skillet, start sautéing mushrooms cut into slices. Add a little salt. No oil is needed. When the mushrooms begin releasing liquid, add the chopped onion.
- 2
Step 2

After 5 minutes, add half of the tomato paste, minced garlic, water, and sugar. Simmer everything for 20 minutes.
- 3
Step 3

Cook the lasagna strips according to the package instructions, then rinse with water. Grease the baking dish thoroughly with butter.
- 4
Step 4

Line the bottom of the pan with a thin layer of tomato paste, then add a layer of pasta.
- 5
Step 5

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees and continue assembling the lasagna: half of the ricotta, some spinach, and part of the mozzarella, followed by the mushroom sauce. Repeat these layers— I ended up with 3 layers.
- 6
Step 6

Cover the pan with foil and bake for 25 minutes, then remove the foil and cook for another 25 minutes. Let it cool for about 5 minutes before serving.
