Classic lasagna with sauce
Description
The recipe won't take much time. Making lasagna at home might seem complicated for beginners, but once you try it, you'll definitely want to prepare this delicious dish again. Although lasagna is considered a traditional Italian dish, it has long been popular far beyond its homeland. There are many variations of fillings for this dish, but there's also a classic recipe, where pasta layers are layered with meat sauce, a ricotta cheese layer, drizzled with béchamel sauce, and, of course, topped with a layer of cheese. The combination of ingredients with aromatic spices will leave no one indifferent. Serve hot.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 200 degrees.
- 2
Step 2
For the meat sauce: chop a slice of bacon and brown it in a pot or saucepan until golden (up to 5 minutes).
- 3
Step 3
Then add the finely chopped onion and grated carrot, season with salt and pepper, and simmer until softened (about 3 more minutes). Next, add the garlic and cook for another minute.
- 4
Step 4
Add the ground beef and simmer until the meat is no longer pink (6 to 7 minutes).
- 5
Step 5
In a separate container, heat the wine, add cinnamon and marinara sauce. Pour the resulting mixture into the meat sauce.
- 6
Step 6
Then remove from heat and set aside.
- 7
Step 7
For the "Béchamel" sauce: heat the milk in the microwave for 2 minutes.
- 8
Step 8
In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter and gradually add flour, cooking for 2 minutes. Then pour in the milk and cook for another 10 minutes until thickened. Stir the sauce constantly during cooking.
- 9
Step 9
Add nutmeg, garlic, salt, pepper, and set aside.
- 10
Step 10

- 11
Step 11
Salt, pepper, and set aside.

Step 12
Grease a pan approximately 30 cm in diameter and the lasagna sheets with sunflower oil. Pour ¼ cup of water and ¼ cup of meat sauce into the bottom of the pan.
- 13
Step 13
Layer in the following order: 3 lasagna sheets, then half of the cheese filling, one-third of the remaining meat sauce, sprinkle with one-quarter of the grated cheese, and pour over with "Béchamel" sauce.
- 14
Step 14
Tightly cover the lasagna with foil and bake for about 50 minutes.
- 15
Step 15
After that, remove the foil, sprinkle with the remaining grated cheese, and bake for another approximately 10 minutes, until the lasagna starts to bubble.
- 16
Step 16
Let the dish rest for about 15 minutes before serving, cut into squares, and serve.
