First, peel and finely chop the onion. Then rinse the basil under running water and finely chop it as well.

Grate the cheese. Grease the baking dish with milk sauce, then place a sheet of lavash, on top of which spread the filling and grated cheese. Cover the filling with a sheet of lavash and repeat the layers. Generously pour the top layer with sauce and sprinkle with cheese.
