Lavash with tuna
Description
I love cooking, and when I'm expecting guests I always try to make as many different treats as I can for them. No matter how many dishes I prepare or how many salads I make, my guests always finish first this appetizer from this simple lavash-with-tuna recipe. In general, lavash makes excellent dishes, and their main charm is that you can use all kinds of fillings. I suggest the simplest approach: wrap canned tuna in lavash, add cheese and vegetables for freshness. So simple and quick, yet what a magnificent flavor! This dish always disappears in a flash, and not a single celebration at our house goes without it; sometimes I even make these little rolls for breakfast or lunch for my family, because my loved ones adore them. So if you want to quickly prepare something tasty and interesting for guests or simply add variety to an everyday lunch, I'll gladly tell you how to make lavash with tuna—a great appetizer for any occasion. It can be served warm or chilled.
Instructions

Step 1

Place the tuna in a bowl, add soft cheese, olive oil, and lime juice. Season with pepper, add salt if needed, and mix. You can also add fresh herbs to the filling, but I didn't have any this time.

Step 2

Now peel the carrots and grate them on a coarse grater.

Step 3

Thoroughly wash and dry the salad leaves.

Step 4

Now take the lavash. If it’s large, cut it in half and lay it on a flat surface. On one half of the lavash, place lettuce leaves, then the tuna and cheese mixture on top, and grated carrot alongside. Roll the lavash into a roll, press it lightly, and put it in the refrigerator. Ideally, chill it for a couple of hours so the lavash can soak up the flavors, but if you’re short on time, 20–30 minutes will do.

Step 5

Then cut the lavash into 2 pieces and serve.
