Lavender cookies
Description
Dried lavender works well here, which you can buy at herbal markets or supermarkets. You can also dry the flowers yourself while they're still in bloom. Otherwise, prepare the dough as you would for shortbread cookies. The cookies bake very quickly, but they must be chilled beforehand to ensure the dough holds together firmly. Serve warm or cooled. Perfect with tea.
