
Lavan Tabekh
Description
The recipe won't take much time. A popular dish of Levantine cuisine. In Syrian, "Lavan Tabekh" means "cooked in yogurt." Lamb stewed in yogurt. Serve hot.

Melt butter in a pressure cooker. Then add onion and meat. Season with cardamom, 1/4 tsp white pepper, and salt. Cook until the liquid from the meat begins to evaporate.

Then add enough water to cover the meat by 2 cm. Cover with a lid and simmer for half an hour.

Strain the yogurt through a sieve. Add 1 tsp of salt.

Dissolve cornstarch in water. Mix thoroughly and add to yogurt.

While constantly stirring, bring the yogurt to a boil. Let it cool slightly.

Transfer the meat to another pot along with 3 cups of meat broth.

Pour the yogurt mixture.
