Langoustines on the Grill
Description
A delicious appetizer for any gathering. If desired, langoustines grilled over charcoal can be served at the table on skewers as well. No one will turn down such a colorful appetizer, especially if the seafood is properly marinated and juicy. If you decide to cook them without skewers, be sure to place them on the grill grate.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare the listed ingredients. If you purchased frozen seafood, thaw it for 30 minutes before marinating.
- 2
Step 2

Rinse the langoustines in water and pat them dry lightly. Place them in a deep dish and sprinkle with salt and ground black pepper.
- 3
Step 3

Cut half a lemon into slices, remove the seeds, and place them in a container. The lemon juice will act as the acid and marinate the langoustines.
- 4
Step 4

Pour in the soy sauce and gently mix the contents of the container. Let stand for about 30–40 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- 5
Step 5

Light the coals in the grill and build a hot fire. Thread the langoustines onto skewers, alternating them with lemon slices. Remember that seafood is sold pre-cooked and frozen, so do not grill it over the fire for too long!
- 6
Step 6

Place the skewers on the grill and cook the dish for 2 minutes on each side — no longer than that, especially if the heat is too high.
- 7
Step 7

Remove the golden langoustines from the skewers, place on a plate, and serve hot.
