Description
The dish is prepared without unnecessary complications. Despite the somewhat unfamiliar word, this is a dish from traditional Russian cuisine, though unfairly forgotten nowadays. The name simply means "cod." Yes, we're talking about a fish dish with chanterelles. A wonderful option for both everyday and festive menus. The ready dish can be served at the table.

2. Wash the fish and dry it thoroughly. Season with salt, add pepper and spices to taste. Let it sit at room temperature for half an hour.

3. Meanwhile, wash, dry, and chop the mushrooms. Place the mushrooms with the onion and garlic onto a preheated frying pan and sauté for about 5–7 minutes, stirring.

4. Pour in the cream and simmer over low heat for another 10 minutes. Add salt and pepper to taste. Remove the mushrooms from the heat, let them cool slightly, then add the cream cheese. Mix well.

5. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees. Place the cod on the work surface and spread half of the mushrooms over it in an even layer.

6. Roll up neatly and transfer to a greased heatproof dish.

7. Place the remaining chanterelles on top. Bake for about 40 minutes until golden brown.
