Description
Homemade pastries for tea. A very simple recipe for making kystybai using lavash. Usually, the pancakes for kystybai are homemade, but you can use ready-made store-bought lavash—it turns out not only quicker but also quite delicious. The filling is made from mashed potatoes diluted with milk. Optionally, add sautéed onions. Good luck!

Step 1
Peel the potatoes and boil them in salted water. Mash the cooked potatoes into a puree, adding butter and seasoning with salt.

Gradually pour in the boiled milk (hot). Mix well.

Place the potatoes on half of the lavash.

Fold the lavash in half and brush it with melted butter on all sides.

Remove from the oven and serve warm or cooled.
