In the evening, rinse the wheat and cover it with water. Let the grain soak overnight.

After that, the grain should be boiled. This can be done on the stove, or transfer the wheat to a baking dish with water. Place the grain in the oven at 180 degrees for 2.5 hours.

Add butter and sugar to the prepared porridge to taste. Mix well.

Chop the nuts finely and toast them in a dry skillet. Pour boiling water over the poppy seeds and let them steep for a couple of minutes. Finely chop the candied fruits and dried fruits. Add everything to the porridge.

Also add honey. Mix the kutya well. It is best served after it has chilled in the refrigerator.
