
Kutya with honey
Description
The dish is prepared without unnecessary complications. A happy Christmas cannot be without sweet kutya. Honey kutya is easy to make. First, boil the wheat and grind the poppy seeds in a mortar. Mix them together with honey, finely chopped nuts, dried fruits, and, of course, more honey. The result is a true festive dessert. Try it! The ready dessert can be served at the table.

1. Boil the wheat for an hour and a half.

2. Pour a glass of boiling water over the poppy seeds and let steep for 30 minutes.

3. When the wheat is cooked, drain the water and rinse under cold water.

4. Drain the water from the poppy seeds and thoroughly grind them in a mortar until milk appears.

5. Then add honey and sugar to the poppy seeds. Stir until the sugar dissolves.

6. Add the wheat to the honey-poppy mixture and mix thoroughly. Pour boiling water over the dried fruits, then add them to the kutia along with the nuts. Serve the dish warm.
