
Memorial kutya
Description
This is a traditional classic recipe for memorial kutya. It is usually prepared on the eve of major holidays: Christmas, Old New Year, and Epiphany. Kutya is also served as the first dish at memorial meals. The cooked wheat should be fluffy and whole. The dressing is made from honey, lemon juice, and orange juice. The dish also includes nuts and raisins. You can garnish the kutya with kiwi slices.

Soak the wheat in cold water for 1 hour.

Boil the wheat until it is soft while keeping the grains whole. After that, drain through a sieve and rinse with cold water. Then spread the wheat onto a towel and let it dry.

Soak the raisins and nuts in boiling water for 10 minutes. Then drain the water and remove the skins from the nuts. Make a dressing using orange and lemon juice and honey.

Place the wheat in a container. Mix with nuts, raisins, and dressing. Cut the kiwi into slices and use them to garnish the dish. It's ready!
