Cutlets from boiled dough
Description
The pastry is simple and quick to prepare. 1. To make the dough, mix the sifted flour with salt and vegetable oil. Mix thoroughly. 2. Bring the water to a boil, then pour the boiling water into the flour. Mix quickly, place the container with the dough over low heat, and knead the dough. 3. Once ready, let the dough cool slightly, then divide it into 4–6 pieces. Roll each piece into a ball and set aside. 4. You can use any filling you like. In this case, it will be cheese (such as feta, suluguni, or Adyghe) with chopped herbs. Add an egg to the filling, season with salt and pepper to taste. For extra flavor, add some crushed nuts. Mix well until uniform. 5. Roll out one dough ball quite thinly. Place the filling in the center, then seal the edges. 6. Heat a skillet. Place the prepared kutabs made from scalded dough onto the skillet and fry on both sides until golden brown. There's no need to grease the pan! That's it—the delicious and filling snack for both children and adults is ready. You can taste the result. Serve cooled or slightly warm.
