
Couscous with tuna and green peas

Couscous with green peas and tuna is the perfect dish for lunch. It's quick to prepare, turns out aromatic, delicious, nutritious, and healthy. You'll need minimal ingredients and no special skills, yet it tastes amazing :)

1. That's all we need to prepare a delicious dish. Oh, and salt, pepper, and basil. I'm using minced tuna—it tastes better to me that way :)

1. First, let's prepare the couscous. Pour the grain into a deep bowl, add salt, and pour boiling water over it. Cover with a plate and let it sit for about 10–15 minutes.

2. Meanwhile, peel and finely chop the garlic. Sauté it in heated olive oil together with dried basil for about one to one and a half minutes.

3. Add green peas (I used frozen ones), pour in a little water, cover with a lid, and cook until the peas are done. My peas were ready in 10 minutes. Remove the lid and evaporate the liquid as much as possible.

4. Add the tuna, previously drained of its juice. Mix and heat for one to one and a half minutes.

5. The couscous is ready, it has absorbed all the water and expanded.

6. Add the couscous to the pan.
