Chicken pie made with puff pastry

Description

The recipe won't take much time. The pie is very filling and delicious. Serve it 15–30 minutes after removing from the oven. Don't like potatoes? Then replace them with boiled rice or other vegetables. You can make puff pastry yourself or buy ready-made. You can decorate the pie with leftover dough to make it even more appetizing. Serve warm or chilled. Perfect with tea.

    1. Peel the potatoes and cut them into thin, fine strips. Finely chop the onion. Cut the raw chicken meat into pieces. Mix the prepared ingredients, season with salt and pepper, and add 2-3 tablespoons of water. Divide the puff pastry into 2 parts. Roll out one part and place it into a baking dish, add the filling and pieces of butter.

    2. Roll out the second sheet of puff pastry and cover the filling with it, tuck in the edges and seal them. Use the leftover pastry to make decorations and attach them with egg yolk. Brush the entire pie with egg yolk to get a beautiful crust. Make a deep cut in the center.

    3. Bake the pie in a preheated oven at 190-200 degrees for about 40-50 minutes.
