Description

Perfectly pairs with tea and coffee. If you're unfamiliar with this dish, let me briefly explain: it consists of several layers — chicken, vegetables, mushrooms, and crepes. The process does take some time, but overall, there's nothing particularly complicated about it. It's ideal for a festive table to impress family and guests. Serve it cooled or slightly warm.

    1. Wash the chicken breast, place it in a saucepan with cold water, and boil until cooked. Shred the cabbage and grate the carrots, then sauté them in butter. Dissolve the yeast and sugar in warm milk. Hard-boil 4 eggs and rinse the mushrooms if necessary.

    2. Add salt, melted butter, eggs, and half of the flour to the ready sponge. Mix thoroughly. Add the remaining flour, knead the dough, and let it rise in a warm place for 1.5–2 hours.

    3. Mix the egg, a pinch of salt and sugar, milk, flour, and vegetable oil. Beat thoroughly until smooth. Fry thin pancakes (we will use only 4). Combine the cooled eggs with mushrooms and mix. The chicken breast can be combined with onions fried in butter. Cool the stewed cabbage.

    4. Pinch off a piece of dough, roll it out and place it into the mold. Add a crepe, chicken, another crepe, and cabbage.

    5. Layer as follows: crepe, mushrooms with egg, crepe. Cover with a second layer of dough and firmly pinch the edges.

    6. You can make decorations like these from the leftover dough. Attach them on top. Brush the pie with beaten egg and place it in a preheated oven at 180 degrees. Bake for about 40 minutes until golden brown, then brush with melted butter.
