
Chicken pie made with non-yeast dough
Description
The recipe won't take much time. I'm making a truly royal dish, using four types of fillings (each layer has its own). Feel free to experiment with the fillings, the main thing is that they complement each other well. I separate the fillings with pancakes, and use a yeast-free dough for the base. Serve warm or chilled. Perfect with tea.

1. I prepare the first filling: I boil the rice, then transfer it to a bowl. I wash and finely chop some herbs (dill and green onion), and add butter.

2. I boil the eggs and cut them into cubes, add them to the rice, mix in mayonnaise, season with a little salt, and stir.

3. I wash and clean the mushrooms, chop them finely, and fry in a pan.

4. Peel and wash the onion, finely chop it, and sauté in a separate frying pan.

5. In a bowl, I combine mushrooms and onions, mix well. The second filling is ready.

6. For the third step, I wash and fry the chicken thighs, then shred the meat and cut it into pieces. I peel 1 garlic clove, chop it, and add it to the meat.

7. Wash and finely dice the tomato and half of the bell pepper, peel 2 garlic cloves and finely chop them, then combine with the other vegetables.

8. Cut the cabbage and carrots into thin strips, chop some fresh herbs (dill), then mix everything together.

9. In a skillet, I first sauté the peppers with tomatoes and garlic, then add the cabbage, carrots, and herbs.

10. For pancakes: I crack a chicken egg into a bowl, add granulated sugar, and whisk.

11. Pour in room-temperature milk, add flour, and knead the dough.

12. I place the pan on the heat, pour the batter with a ladle, and fry 5 pancakes.

13. Roll out a sheet of puff pastry, place a crepe on it, and put the mushroom filling on top.

17. Roll out the second piece of dough and cover the pancake pyramid with it, brush the edges with yolk and seal them.

18. Cut out leaves from the leftover dough pieces, use them to decorate the pie, and place it in a preheated oven at 200°C for 10 minutes, then reduce the temperature to 170°C and continue baking for another 5 minutes.
