Chicken roulade with gelatin
Description
It's suitable for both holidays and everyday meals. Lately I've been trying to make all my meat appetizers myself, because at home they turn out incredibly delicious and are always in demand on the holiday table. As for this recipe for chicken roll with gelatin, it's actually one of my favorites. As you've probably already noticed, this appetizer calls for only two main ingredients—chicken and gelatin—and you can add salt and spices to taste. And the cooking process itself is ridiculously simple, so absolutely any home cook can make chicken roll with gelatin at home.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

First, we thoroughly rinse the chicken under running water and remove its skin.
- 2
Step 2

Now we need to cut all the meat off the bones.
- 3
Step 3

And cut it into small pieces.
- 4
Step 4

Transfer the meat to a bowl or pot and season with salt to taste.
- 5
Step 5

Next, clear and wipe dry any flat surface, cover it with a layer of plastic wrap. Place the sliced chicken meat on the wrap (in a single layer) and pound the meat with a mallet.
- 6
Step 6

In a separate bowl, mix dry gelatin with your favorite chicken spices, then evenly sprinkle the pounded meat with the prepared mixture.
- 7
Step 7

Now we very carefully roll the meat into a roll (the plastic wrap must not get inside the roll). Wrap our roll in several layers of plastic wrap.
- 8
Step 8

After that, it should be wrapped in several layers of foil.
- 9
Step 9

Place the roll in a narrow mold (seam side up) and pour water into it to one-third full. Bake the roll in an oven preheated to 200°C for one hour, then let it cool to room temperature. When the roll has cooled, transfer it to the refrigerator and leave it there for 2–3 hours; that is plenty of time for it to set.

Step 10

Once the time is up, all that's left is to carefully unroll the roll and slice it into portions. Bon appetit, everyone!
