
Chicken roll with bacon
Description
These rolls can easily replace sausage. They can be served as a main dish or as a snack. These little rolls are good both warm and cold. You can prepare them for a festive table or just for fun. Besides bacon, you can also add cheese, herbs, dried fruits, vegetables, berries, and other fillings.

1. In a dry skillet, fry the bacon until golden brown, but not crispy, then transfer it to a plate. Finely chop the onion and sauté it in the same skillet, then set aside in a separate container. Cover the chicken breasts with plastic wrap and pound them into thin cutlets.

2. Place the chicken breasts, season with salt and pepper. Lay 2-3 slices of bacon on each breast, then sprinkle with fried onion and add grated cheese.

3. Shape each chicken breast into a roll using plastic wrap.

4. Secure each chicken breast with toothpicks so the filling doesn't fall out during cooking.

5. In a heated skillet, sear the rolls on all sides until golden brown. Place the skillet in a preheated oven at 150 degrees and bake for 20 minutes.

6. Transfer the cooked rolls to a separate container, then return the skillet to the heat, pour off the rendered fat, add wine to the skillet, and scrape up all the browned bits. After the wine has evaporated, add the minced garlic and flour; after a minute, pour in the broth and cream. Cook the sauce for another 2–4 minutes. Strain the sauce through a fine sieve, return it to the heat, and simmer for several minutes.

7. Serve the ready rolls cut into pieces, drizzle with sauce and enjoy.
