
Chicken Aspic in a Bottle
Description

1. Soak the gelatin in a glass of water, then dissolve it as indicated on the package.

2. Place the chicken in a deep skillet, cover with a lid, and braise for 40–50 minutes until the meat comes easily off the bone and there is plenty of juice. Add salt and pepper to taste. Remove from the heat when the meat begins to cook through and fall apart, becoming very tender.

3. Add the nuts, minced garlic, and diced chicken to the remaining chicken juices in the pan. Also add the dissolved gelatin here!

4. Keep this mixture on the heat briefly until it bubbles. Remove from heat and pour into 1.5-liter bottles with trimmed necks. Let stand until fully set, then carefully remove the bottle.

5. Slice the aspic into round pieces, like sausage, and serve chilled.
