Chicken rolls with orange
Description
The recipe won't take much time. Today I'd like to offer you an interesting dish for a romantic dinner or festive table: chicken rolls with orange. Essentially, no special ingredients are required—just chicken, oranges, and a couple more basic items every home cook usually has on hand. These rolls are best served with mashed potatoes. Good luck with your cooking! Serve hot.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

The first thing you need to do is peel the oranges and divide them into segments. Try to remove as much of the white pith as possible.
- 2
Step 2

Cut the chicken fillet into elongated pieces. Approximately as shown in the photo.
- 3
Step 3

Salt, pepper, and gently pound each piece.
- 4
Step 4

Take a flattened piece of chicken, lightly spread with mayonnaise, place an orange slice on it, and roll it up.
- 5
Step 5

You should get a roll like this.
- 6
Step 6

In the same way, roll up all the remaining rolls. Secure each roll with a toothpick so that it does not fall apart.
- 7
Step 7

In a skillet, heat the oil over high heat. Place the rolls seam-side down and sear for a couple of minutes until a light crust forms.
- 8
Step 8

Flip over and fry on the other side.

Step 9

Place the fried rolls into a deep, heavy-bottomed pot, pour over low-fat sour cream and a small amount of water. Add salt, pepper, spices, and set on low heat. Simmer covered for 20–25 minutes.

Step 10

Orange chicken rolls are ready. Enjoy!
