Description
The recipe won't take much time. You can cool and freeze the finished buns, then reheat them in the microwave.
Instructions

Step 1

1. To make the filling, chop the onion, celery, and carrots. Melt butter in a medium skillet, add onion, celery, peas, and carrots. Cook over medium heat for 2-3 minutes. Add salt, dill, and flour; cook for 1 minute.

Step 2

2. Add chicken broth and stir until the mixture thickens, about 2 minutes. Mix in the pieces of chicken and grated Parmesan cheese. Cool the filling in the refrigerator. Preheat the oven to 190 degrees. Grease a baking sheet with butter.

Step 3

3. In a food processor or using an electric mixer, beat the butter, cream cheese, and cream. Add the flour and salt, and beat until combined.
- 4
Step 4

4. Place the dough on a well-floured surface and divide it into 2 parts. Shape each part into a disk and wrap in plastic wrap. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.

Step 5

5. On a well-floured surface, roll out one disc of dough into a circle about 30 cm in diameter. The dough should be thin but not transparent. Repeat with the second half of the dough. Using an inverted cup (about 12 cm in diameter), cut out about 3 circles from each piece of dough. After cutting, gather all dough scraps, roll them out again, and cut additional circles.

Step 6

6. Place 1/4 cup of filling in the center of each circle. Moisten the edges of the dough with water. Fold the dough into a semicircle shape.
- 7
Step 7

7. Pinch the edges together and press with a fork. Repeat with the remaining dough and filling. At this stage, the pies can be frozen. Place the pies on the prepared baking sheet and refrigerate for several minutes. Prick the tops of the pies twice with a fork. Beat the egg with 1 tablespoon of water. Brush the pies with the egg mixture.

Step 8

8. Bake the buns for 20-25 minutes, until golden brown. Let cool for 5 minutes before serving.
