Step 1

1. First, prepare the chicken drumsticks: remove any remaining feathers, then singe them over an open flame and thoroughly rinse. Place the prepared drumsticks into a bowl, add marinade and previously squeezed garlic, as well as spices and a little salt.

Step 2

2. To prepare the marinade, we use fresh plums: take a fork and pierce the plums in several places, then put them into boiling water and simmer over low heat for ten minutes. Add cloves, cinnamon, allspice, and vinegar to the water with the plums. Then cover the pot with a lid and place it in a warm spot. Let the marinade cool completely. Once fully cooled, strain the marinade, pour it into a jar, and store it in the refrigerator.

Step 4

4. Place the baking tray with the drumsticks into the preheated oven and bake for about forty minutes. The heat should be set to medium. Every seven to ten minutes, lightly baste the drumsticks with the marinade. After baking, remove them from the oven and transfer to plates. Fresh vegetables or a salad will go very well with the drumsticks.
