Chicken legs in honey sauce
Description
The dish is prepared without unnecessary complications. This is a very simple recipe for chicken drumsticks in honey sauce that anyone can easily repeat in their own kitchen. If desired, you can add your favorite spices, aromatic herbs, or even replace the mustard with tomato sauce, for example. Thanks to the marinade, the drumsticks turn out not only delicious but also incredibly attractive. 1. First, wash the drumsticks under running water and dry them with a paper towel. 2. Place them in a deep bowl and rub them with salt on all sides. 3. In a separate bowl, mix vegetable oil with mustard. 4. Use liquid honey; if it's crystallized, gently warm it in a water bath. 5. Squeeze lemon juice and add it to the bowl. 6. Whisk everything with a whisk or spoon until smooth. 7. Add paprika and dried garlic. Transfer the drumsticks into the marinade, mixing well so that the marinade completely covers them. 8. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for a couple of hours to let the drumsticks marinate. 9. Afterwards, transfer them to an ovenproof dish and place in a preheated oven for 40–45 minutes. During cooking, baste the drumsticks regularly to prevent them from drying out. That's it—your dish is ready to serve.
