Chicken cutlets with bread
Description
The recipe won't take much time. You can use store-bought minced meat, but it will taste better if you prepare it yourself. I'm using minced chicken breast, but you can use fillet from any part of the chicken. Use spices to your taste. If desired, you can add fresh herbs, grated cheese, or finely chopped bacon to the minced meat. Delicious both on its own and with any side dish of your choice. I recommend giving it a try. Serve hot.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare all the ingredients from the list. I indicated the bread weight in its cleaned form, already without crusts.
- 2
Step 2

Cut the crusts off the bread, crumble by hand, and soak in milk. Leave for 5-10 minutes.
- 3
Step 3

Meanwhile, rinse the fillet and pat it dry, then cut into pieces. Peel the onion and garlic and cut them into several pieces.
- 4
Step 4

Squeeze all the milk out of the bread thoroughly and pass the bread crumb through a meat grinder. Grind the onion, garlic, and chicken fillet through the meat grinder as well.
- 5
Step 5

Add salt to taste and your favorite spices.
- 6
Step 6

Mix.
- 7
Step 7

Then beat the meat mixture against the bowl and let it rest for a few minutes. To beat the mixture, take a portion in your hand and forcefully throw it back into the bowl, repeating this several times (usually for 4-5 minutes). This process makes the meat mixture more uniform, loose, and juicy, improves its texture, enriches it with oxygen, and helps spices distribute more evenly, ultimately enhancing the flavor and texture of the cooked patties.

Step 8

With wet hands, take a small amount of the meat mixture and roll it in breadcrumbs, shaping it into a patty of desired shape and size.
- 9
Step 9

Place the patties onto a well-heated skillet with oil. Fry on both sides over medium heat until golden brown.
- 10
Step 10

Then reduce the heat and cook covered for another 5 minutes.

Chicken cutlets with bread are ready. Serve with sauces or your favorite side dish.
