
Chicken gizzards
Description
The recipe won't take much time. It's very easy to prepare, and the presentation of the dish will amaze your whole family. Cooking in pots is very simple, especially when it comes to gizzards—you can constantly experiment. For example, add your favorite dried fruits, such as apricots or prunes, or replace buckwheat with potatoes. Serve the cooked chicken gizzards hot, garnished with fresh herbs and a salad.

Rinse the buckwheat and place it into a baking pot, pour 4 cups of water, add 1.5 tsp of salt, and bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for 40 minutes. Then reduce the heat to 120°C and leave the pot for 1.5 hours.

Cut the chicken gizzards into small pieces, peel and finely chop the onion. Pour oil into a frying pan and sauté the gizzards over medium heat for about 10 minutes, then add the onion and cook for another 10 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.

Add the giblets with onions to the pot, mix, and let bake for another 30 minutes.

Cut the eggs into cubes. Chop the herbs finely. Add everything to the pot together with the butter and mix. Leave in the oven for another 30 minutes.
