Chicken gizzards stewed with potatoes
Description
The recipe won't take much time. I'd like to point out that you can cook chicken gizzards stewed with potatoes not only on the stovetop, but also in the oven or a multicooker. 1. First, wash, clean, and dry the gizzards. 2. Peel and dice the onion and potatoes into small cubes. 3. Pour a little oil into a thick-bottomed saucepan and add the onion. 4. Sauté until translucent, then add minced garlic. 5. Add the gizzards and cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, for about 3–5 minutes. 6. Add the potatoes to the saucepan. 7. Season with salt and pepper to taste. 8. Chop the peeled tomato and add it together with sour cream. 9. Mix everything thoroughly and pour in a little water. 10. Bring to a boil, cover with a lid, and simmer over medium heat for 30–40 minutes. That's the whole secret of making chicken gizzards stewed with potatoes. Before serving, sprinkle with fresh herbs and add a spoonful of sour cream. Serve hot.
