
Chicken gizzards with beans

Prepare the ingredients for cooking chicken gizzards with beans.

Wash the chicken gizzards and place them in a pot. Pour water over them.

Bring the gizzards to a boil in water, skim off the foam, season with salt to taste, and simmer over medium heat until tender. Cooking time depends on the quality of the poultry, but usually takes 45–60 minutes. Once cooked, transfer the chicken gizzards to a plate.

Rinse the beans and soak them in cold water for several hours, or preferably overnight. After soaking, place the beans in a pot and cover with water. Add a pinch of salt.

Pour 70 ml of water into the pan, cover with a lid, and simmer the onion and carrots for 10–15 minutes until soft.

Pour 150 ml of water into a frying pan, season the sauce to taste with salt, and mix well to avoid lumps. You can add any herbs and spices to taste.
