Chicken drumsticks in the oven
Description
Chicken drumsticks can be baked in the oven with vegetables, in a roasting bag or on a baking sheet, as well as with various marinades and sauces. They go perfectly with any side dishes, suitable for both festive and everyday meals. Be sure to remove any feathers before cooking. An especially interesting option is preparing drumsticks with a glaze—this is exactly the recipe I suggest trying.

Step 1

1. For making honey glaze, use any honey you have. You'll need one heaping tablespoon, which should be melted, then add soy sauce and balsamic vinegar, and mix well.

Step 2

2. Clean the drumsticks from feathers, wash them and dry with a paper towel, then transfer to a container. Peel and finely chop the garlic, or mince it using a press, add it to the chicken, then pour the marinade (cooled to 50–60 degrees) over the chicken. Mix well and let it marinate for 1–2 hours, stirring occasionally.

3. Place the marinated shanks into a baking dish previously lined with parchment paper. Put into a preheated oven at 180 degrees, brushing the shanks with the remaining marinade every 15 minutes.

4. The ready chicken drumsticks turn out golden brown, with an appetizing glaze. Serve the drumsticks hot, with fresh vegetables.
