Chicken drumsticks with lime and cilantro

Description

The recipe won't take much time. Don't have chicken drumsticks? No problem—use chicken wings, thighs, or legs instead. If using chicken breasts, cut them into pieces, as the meat may become too dry after cooling. You can confidently cook the meat in this marinade not only in the oven but also on the grill. Serve hot.

    4. Rinse the chicken drumsticks and pat them dry with paper towels. Place the chicken drumsticks in a resealable plastic bag, add the marinade, squeeze out the air from the bag, seal it, and mix thoroughly. Place the bag in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.

    6. Place the dish with chicken drumsticks in a preheated oven at 230°C and cook for 30-40 minutes, checking doneness periodically with a thermometer; the internal temperature of cooked drumsticks should reach 71°C. Optionally, you can turn on the broiler and brown for 3-5 minutes to form a crust.

    7. Wash the second lime and cut it into wedges. Remove the cooked chicken legs from the oven, sprinkle them with cilantro, and add the lime wedges.
