
Chicken thighs in soy sauce
Description

Season the chicken with salt and rose wine. Cut the green onion into thin strips. Now mix soy sauce, dark soy sauce, and brown sugar. Add half a cup of water to the mixture.

Heat a skillet with oil and dry spices (ginger, licorice, cinnamon stick, and dill seeds) over medium heat until fragrant. Place chicken thighs skin-side down. Cover with a lid and cook for about 5 minutes, until golden brown. Flip the chicken thighs and continue cooking, covered, for another 5 minutes.

Pour in the soy sauce mixture. Simmer over low heat for about 10 minutes. Turn the chicken thighs over and continue simmering for another 10 minutes.
