
Chicken thighs with orzo
Description
Prepare all ingredients in one skillet. First, sear the meat until golden brown, then cook the pasta right in the same pan. Finally, combine all ingredients and simmer. Serve the dish hot. Instead of chicken thighs, you can use drumsticks, chicken legs, or chicken breasts.

1. Wash the meat and season with salt. Melt butter in a skillet, add olive oil, and place the chicken thighs in the pan.

2. Sear on all sides until golden brown. Transfer the meat to a plate and return the skillet to the heat.

3. Add the pasta to the skillet and mix.

4. Add the chopped onion and garlic.

5. Place the meat on top of the paste, skin side up.

6. In a bowl, mix the crushed canned tomatoes, broth, ground pepper, and salt. Pour the mixture over the contents of the skillet and bring to a boil. Then cover with a lid and simmer until the pasta has completely absorbed the liquid (10–15 minutes).
