Grilled chicken thighs
Description
The recipe won't take much time. There are thousands of ways to grill chicken thighs. Essentially, the cooking method is always the same—the only difference lies in the marinades. Choosing the perfect recipe isn't easy: some turn out too spicy, others too sweet... But this grilled chicken thigh recipe is different :) I've tried to create a tasty yet balanced and universally appealing marinade that will surely please everyone. At least, I really hope so! :) Serve hot.
Instructions

Step 1

Ingredients. Yes, you read that right – chicken thighs really are marinated in milk with spices :)
- 2
Step 2

Take a small bowl for preparing the marinade. Mix in it finely chopped onion, spices, garlic pressed through a garlic press or crushed in a mortar, and salt.
- 3
Step 3

Add milk and olive oil. Mix well.
- 4
Step 4

Take a large bowl in which the chicken thighs will be marinated. Pour a little marinade onto the bottom of the bowl, then add a couple of chicken thighs.
- 5
Step 5

Continue layering marinade and chicken thighs alternately until they are all used up. Pour the remaining marinade over the top of the chicken thighs. You can simply place all the chicken thighs in a bowl, pour the marinade over them, and mix, but from my experience, the chicken may not marinate properly this way. To ensure the best mixture of marinade and chicken, layer the chicken pieces one by one, adding a little marinade each time.

Step 6

Cover the bowl with a lid or plastic wrap and refrigerate for 12 hours. Don't believe those who tell you that marinating chicken for a couple of hours is enough—it can technically be marinated not at all, but if you want truly delicious grilled chicken thighs, marinate them for at least 8 hours, and preferably the full 12 hours.
- 7
Step 7

Preheat the grill or coals. Place the marinated chicken thighs on the grill and cook for 8-10 minutes per side. The exact time depends on the temperature at which the thighs are grilled.

Step 8

Serve at the table.
