Chicken fillet with fried bananas
Description
The recipe won't take much time. Wash the chicken drumsticks, dry them, and remove the skin. Cut the meat into small pieces. Finely chop the onion and sauté it in a skillet with a small amount of olive oil until it becomes slightly golden and soft. In another skillet, heat a little olive oil and sear the chicken over high heat until it develops a golden crust. Remember to stir constantly, otherwise it will burn quickly. After about 5 minutes, season the chicken with salt and pepper, adding your favorite spices to taste. Then pour 3–5 tablespoons of hot water into the chicken, reduce the heat, and simmer for another 5 minutes. Add the sautéed onion and continue simmering for 10–15 minutes. While the chicken is cooking, peel the bananas and slice them crosswise into thick rounds. Fry the banana slices in a skillet, making sure they don't overlap during frying, until they develop a golden crust. To serve, place the bananas on plates and top them with the chicken. Plain steamed rice goes well as a side dish. Serve hot.
