Chicken liver baked in foil
Description
The dish is prepared without unnecessary complications. Did you know that liver baked in the oven turns out tastier than when cooked in a pan? Until recently, I didn't know that either. I was won over by the juiciness of the liver, which cooks in its own juices. Today I'll tell you how. The ready dish can be served at the table.
Instructions

Step 1

1. Wash and dry the chicken liver. Then, in a small container, mix vegetable oil, dried herbs, salt, and pepper to taste. Marinate the liver in this mixture for about 20–30 minutes.
- 2
Step 2

2. Meanwhile, prepare the other ingredients for the dish. Slice the onion into half-rings, and cut the bacon into strips or thin slices.
- 3
Step 3

3. I fried the bacon before baking, although you can place it raw. But without frying, it will turn out sort of boiled.
- 4
Step 4

4. Then, in the same skillet, sauté the onion until golden brown.
- 5
Step 5

5. Then take a rectangular piece of foil and place half of the bacon in the center.
- 6
Step 6

6. On top — half of the onion.
- 7
Step 7

7. And the final layer — marinated liver. We place the second half of the ingredients onto the second piece of foil in the same sequence.
- 8
Step 8

8. Wrap the liver with onion and bacon like a candy. Place in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for 20-25 minutes.
- 9
Step 9

9. Then unfold the foil and bake the liver for another 5 minutes.
