Chicken breast in creamy sauce
Description
1. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees. 2. Pour lemon juice over the chicken breasts and season with salt and pepper. 3. Heat oil in a casserole dish. Sear the chicken on both sides. 4. Place the casserole dish in the preheated oven for 5–6 minutes. Remove the chicken from the dish. 5. Prepare the sauce. Pour broth and wine into the casserole dish. Boil over high heat for about 2 minutes. Add cream and continue cooking for several more minutes over high heat until the sauce thickens. Season with pepper, salt, and a little lemon juice. 6. Pour the sauce over the chicken breasts and sprinkle with parsley. Serving: Place chicken breasts on a serving dish, pour over the sauce, and sprinkle with fresh herbs. Serve with boiled rice, spinach, risotto, and asparagus. It would also be a good idea to uncork a bottle of fine French wine.
