Chicken breast with mushrooms baked in the oven
Description
The recipe won't take much time. You'll really enjoy this oven-baked chicken breast with mushrooms. And for good reason—tender marinade and a special crispy-creamy mixture in which the juicy chicken bakes is already delightful, but add a "bed" of mushrooms and garlic, and just imagine how deliciously aromatic the chicken breast becomes! By the way, the mushrooms can be served as a side dish with the chicken. Good luck! Serve hot.

Step 1

1. Line the bottom of the pan with foil or parchment paper. Wash the mushrooms, dry them slightly, and slice. Arrange them in the pan, then evenly distribute the butter over the mushrooms. Add the minced garlic on top.

Step 2

2. Thaw the chicken breasts, rinse and pat dry. In a separate bowl, whisk together the egg, spices, and lemon juice. In another bowl, mix grated Parmesan, garlic powder, spices, and breadcrumbs. Dip each chicken breast first into the egg mixture, then into the dry mixture. Place on top of the mushrooms.

Step 3

3. I simply pour the remaining dry and wet mixtures over the chicken. Bake the dish in the oven at 180 degrees for about an hour. When the chicken is golden on the outside and tender on the inside, it's ready to be taken out.
