French-style chicken in wine
Description
The dish is prepared without unnecessary complications. Chicken cooked in red wine with mushrooms is a piquant and very tasty dish. The poultry meat is cooked in an excellent sweet-and-sour sauce with wine notes. Mushrooms play an important role here. According to one version of this recipe, onions are sautéed with bacon and added to the pot along with the other ingredients. If you don't mind the higher fat content in this version, you can certainly do so. As for me, there's already enough fat. The dish is ready to be served.
