Description
A classic dish—chicken with apples—becomes even more delicious when cooked in a roaster. Give it a try
Instructions

Step 1

1. First, I prepared the sauce, which I later used to coat the chicken. To do this, melt about 50 grams of butter, press garlic through a garlic press, add salt and pepper, and mix well.
- 2
Step 2

2. I peeled the apples and removed the cores. I cut them into medium-sized slices.
- 3
Step 3

3. Grease the roasting pan with butter, and coat the chicken inside and outside with the sauce. Arrange apples around the chicken and stuff the cavity with them.
- 4
Step 4

4. Then I added a little water to the casserole dish and baked it in the oven, preheated to 200 degrees, for half an hour with the lid on.
- 5
Step 5

5. Then I removed the lid so the chicken could brown. I periodically brushed the skin with a brush.
- 6
Step 6

6. When the chicken has become nicely browned, it's time to take it out and serve.
