Chicken in creamy sauce with bacon
Description
The recipe won't take much time. We'll end up with a wonderful meat dish that goes well with any side. The meat is juicy, tasty, tender, and aromatic, with a subtle bacon flavor and a hint of smokiness. Give it a try! The result will be close to the most delicious canned meat—maybe even better. I'm telling you, serve it hot.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Cut the smoked bacon into small pieces.
- 2
Step 2

Finely chop the onion. Use 2-3 onions. The onion won't hurt this dish—in fact, it will add juiciness and tenderness to the flavor.
- 3
Step 3

We'll prepare the entire dish right in the saucepan. First, pour in vegetable oil. Sauté the onion in it until translucent. Add the bacon.
- 4
Step 4

Cut the chicken meat (I used chicken stew meat) into small pieces. I left the skin on because I wanted to make a fairly juicy and fatty dish.
- 5
Step 5

Add the meat to the fried ingredients. Stir and let the meat sear on one side. Then stir again and cook the meat thoroughly. Add a little water, just enough to barely cover the meat. Simmer, covered, for about 20 minutes.
- 6
Step 6

When the meat is ready, pour in 3-4 tablespoons of sour cream. Mix. Bring to a boil, then add a little salt and spices. Simmer for 5 minutes. Turn off the heat.

Step 7

The dish is ready. Serve it with any side dish. For example, rice goes perfectly with this chicken. It can be served in an interesting way.
