Fried chicken in a multicooker
Description
The recipe won't take much time. Choose any meaty part of the chicken: thighs, drumsticks, wings, or breast. Optionally, marinate the chicken 1-2 hours before cooking. To ensure it cooks thoroughly inside, after flipping, reduce the heat and let the chicken simmer under a lid in its own juices. Add fresh herbs, garlic, etc., at the very end. Serve hot.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare the listed ingredients. If you bought frozen chicken thighs, thaw them, then remove the tendons and membranes, but leave the skin intact—place the thighs skin-side down on the bottom of the multicooker.
- 2
Step 2

Place the chicken pieces in a bowl and cover with cold water, then rinse thoroughly on all sides.
- 3
Step 3

Line plates with paper towels and place the chicken thighs on them. Pat with paper towels to remove excess moisture.
- 4
Step 4

Pour vegetable oil into the multicooker bowl and activate the "Frying" mode for 15 minutes. Heat the oil for about a minute, then place the chicken thighs skin-side down. If the oil isn't heated enough, the skin will stick to the bottom of the bowl.

Step 5

Add the prepared seasoning and sauté until the beep sounds. At this stage, you can also add other spices and seasonings.
- 6
Step 6

Then flip the chicken thighs to the other side and activate for another 15 minutes on the display in "Frying" mode. Close the lid of the appliance and let the chicken cook thoroughly, searing and steaming underneath.

Step 7

After the specified time, the chicken fried in the multicooker will be ready! Place the golden-brown pieces on a plate and serve with any side dish, vegetable salad, or sauce. Enjoy your meal!
