
Chicken in honey-soy sauce with sesame
Description
The recipe won't take much time. You can fry the chicken for this recipe in deep oil or in a pan. You may substitute rice wine with dry white wine. Serve the meat hot, garnished with sesame seeds. It goes perfectly with boiled rice, which is traditional in Asian countries. Serve hot.

1. Wash and peel the chicken breasts. Cut them into small, evenly sized pieces. Prepare the marinade: mix egg whites, 1 tablespoon of soy sauce, and rice wine. Place the chicken in the marinade and set aside for a while.

2. Peel and mince the ginger and garlic. Prepare the sauce: in a separate bowl, mix ¾ cup of chicken broth, 1 tablespoon of cornstarch, soy sauce (2 tablespoons), honey, sugar, and rice vinegar. Stir until the starch and honey are completely dissolved.

3. Pour sesame oil into a saucepan, place it over heat, and when the oil reaches the desired temperature, add garlic and ginger, cook for one minute.

4. Pour the sauce into the saucepan, bring to a boil and cook for 1 more minute. Then remove from heat.

5. Mix 1 cup of cornstarch with salt in a small container. Remove the chicken pieces from the marinade and coat them one by one in the cornstarch mixture. Place the chicken pieces onto a plate, shaking off any excess starch.

6. Prepare the deep fryer: pour vegetable oil into it and heat to 190 degrees. Fry the chicken until golden brown. Do this in several batches.

7. Transfer the cooked pieces to paper towels to remove excess grease.

8. Place the chicken in the sauce, constantly stirring, bring to a boil, and cook for a couple of minutes after boiling.
