Chicken in red wine
Description
Cooking chicken in red wine is easy even for a beginner. The key is to marinate it properly, using good quality wine and spices that will enhance the chicken's flavor, such as cardamom, paprika, allspice, and others. You can cook the chicken breast rolled up or whole, or cut it into pieces and thread onto skewers to make delicious kebabs, perfect as an appetizer for a festive table.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare all the necessary ingredients. I used homemade red wine, but you can also use store-bought, just make sure it's good quality and contains no artificial coloring.
- 2
Step 2

Cut the chicken breast into small pieces, place in a glass bowl, and sprinkle with salt and spices.
- 3
Step 3

Pour wine over the chicken and let it marinate for 30-40 minutes at room temperature.
- 4
Step 4

Thread the marinated chicken onto skewers or wooden sushi sticks. Place the kebabs on a baking sheet and bake in the oven for 20-25 minutes.

Step 5

Serve the chicken skewers on skewers. One chicken breast yields approximately two skewers; I recommend preparing them according to the number of guests and serving individually on a plate, garnished with salad leaves.
